   FAQs

questions, FAQ, house plans

01

Why is it called a preliminary foundation plan?

Every building department has their own requirements, and some require engineering on specific parts, such as the foundation. For this reason we call it "Preliminary" in case engineering is required and changes are needed based on that.

02

How does the process work FOR eDITS?

In general, after an initial meeting to discuss changes and a 50% down payment, a prelim plan will be sent to you within 3-5 business days. From there we make further changes as needed! Five (5) edits are included in the flat fee.

03

WHY DO YOUR PLANS NOT INCLUDE ELECTRICAL, PLUMBING OR HVAC PLANS?

We do not provide electrical/plumbing/HVAC plans because they are best and typically left worked out between the customer and the contractor. However, we do provide a lighting plan as a starting off point and can add any non-standard electrical items to it as well such as in-floor outlets, etc.

04

ARE YOUR PLANS ENGINEERED?

Though the plans are ready to build and designed according to the International Building code we do not currently have the ability to stamp our plans. Every city/county has their own building requirements and since these plans are sold all over the U.S. it is best to source that out in your area.
